Massage and bodywork in Peachtree City
Peachtree City writes its own massage rules into the city code, on top of state licensing. A session in your home counts as outcall massage under the code's definitions, and every therapist working in the city must be licensed by the state, so ask to see the license when you book.
Therapists planning to work in the city should read the code's massage article before the first booking. It requires a regulatory fee certificate and an occupation tax certificate to operate a massage establishment, and applicants go through a background investigation, fingerprinting and a photograph. Whether a therapist who only visits clients' homes needs that certificate, and whether a massage room can be a home business, are open questions, so check with the city.
In Peachtree City the hours for massage are set by city code, 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., so an evening session has to finish by 9:30.

Questions people ask
Is this medical massage?
No. These sessions are for relaxation and comfort; for pain or an injury, see a doctor or physical therapist.
What should I wear?
Undress to your own comfort level. You stay covered by a sheet the whole time, and the practitioner steps out while you get on the table.
Can someone else be in the house during the session?
Yes. Many clients and practitioners prefer it, and it's fine to say so when booking.
