Questions people ask
How high should a TV be mounted?
A common rule of thumb is the middle of the screen near eye level when you are seated. Over a fireplace it ends up higher, so try the height with tape first.
Can the cords be hidden inside the wall?
Running power inside a wall is electrical work for a licensed electrician. A neighbor can use a paintable cord cover on the wall surface instead.
Can a TV go on a brick or plaster wall?
Yes, with the right drill bits and anchors. Mention the wall type ahead of time so they bring the right tools.
