Fayette County Schools to be Covered in Prayer for Second Annual Event

Fayette County residents are invited to unite in prayer for the upcoming school year at the second annual “Campuses Covered” event. On Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., participants will gather at every public and private school campus across the county to pray for students, teachers, administrators, staff, and families.

This interdenominational initiative, organized by Open Prayer Spaces, is part of the global 24-7 Prayer movement. The goal is to offer prayers for wisdom, protection, peace, and hope for the 2025-26 school year. Last year's event saw participation from 675 individuals representing over 25 churches.

Open Prayer Spaces is the local expression of the international 24/7 Prayer movement.
