Asheboro's Free Summer Concerts Return to Bicentennial Park Through September

Free concerts are scheduled at Bicentennial Park in Downtown Asheboro, and no ticket is required.

The Summer Concert Series, presented jointly by Downtown Asheboro Inc. and the City of Asheboro, runs Friday and Sunday nights from May through September. The next dates on the calendar include a Sunday Night Concert featuring Phatt City, followed by a Friday Night Rock'n the Park show with a tribute act to Earth, Wind & Fire.

The Randolph Arts Guild's Asheboro Fall Festival — a staple since 1952 — takes place on the first Saturday of October, featuring craft vendors, live music, and food. Later in the year, the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce hosts the Christmas Parade on the first Friday of December, followed by Christmas Downtown the second Friday of December.
