The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race at Homestead-Miami Speedway airs Friday, November 6, at 7:30 p.m. ET on FS1 — not Sunday. Fans tuning in today for the Truck finale are a weekend early; Sunday's event is the Cup Series championship, which starts at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

Friday's Truck race comes down to two drivers: Kaden Honeycutt and Layne Riggs. Nick Sanchez, driving the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado, claimed the pole with a lap of 32.756 seconds (164.855 mph) in qualifying, according to Yahoo Sports.

The O'Reilly Auto Parts Series championship race runs Saturday, November 7, at 5 p.m. ET on The CW, slotting between the Truck and Cup finales. All three races are held at Homestead-Miami Speedway's 1.5-mile oval, known for its progressive banking and abrasive surface that rewards tire management.

Sunday's Cup Series finale features Kyle Larson as the points leader — holding a 67-point edge over Christopher Bell, with Denny Hamlin 70 points back — as the only three drivers still in championship contention, according to CBS Sports. Chase Briscoe starts from the pole after posting a qualifying time of 32.396 seconds. The race airs on NBC and HBO Max, with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, according to Heavy.

The full championship weekend runs November 5–8. Thursday evening featured Truck Series practice on the NASCAR Channel. Friday also includes Cup Series practice at 5:30 p.m. ET on truTV before the Truck race. Saturday brings O'Reilly qualifying at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN and Cup qualifying at 2:30 p.m. ET on truTV, according to Heavy's published schedule.

Homestead-Miami Speedway hosted the NASCAR championship from 2002 to 2019 before the finale rotated to other venues. FOX Sports reported in May 2025 that the track would return to host all three national series finales in 2026. NASCAR has said it plans to move the finale to another site for 2027 as part of a rotation plan, according to Fresh Calendars.

Why it matters — Fans searching for the Truck race need to know it already aired Friday on FS1 — Sunday's action at Homestead is the Cup Series finale on NBC.
